The Wallzoo

The Wallzoo began with a few old Grand Champions ponies and a bottle of Elmer's glue. It was at first simple a herd of ponies running sideways across my bedroom wall. When I expanded to other animals and set it up above my computer table, I eventually decided that I might be messing up the wall. You know. With the glue. And so my real Wallzoo adventure began.

With a four foot square sheet of masonite. Painted as an primitive habitat, including jungle, grassland, tundra, ocean, and cave. With flocks of ponies, antelope, zebra, lions, tigers, wolves, gators, giant effin rats, and dinos. All secured to the wall above my desk.

Eventually, when half the animals fell off (hot glue must not have been the ideal substrate) I decided I needed a new zoo. Besides, I was going off to college, and couldn't bring a four foot square sheet of masonite with me. So I started my new zoo.

Made of cloth to be fully foldable and portable, the zoo covers most of the same habitats, this time exchanging cave for a nice squishy volcano.

I think the octopus really adds a nice touch.
