Duct Tape!
Duct tape, while always useful for holding stuff up, down, and together, can also be fashionable. Here are some of my more recent ducty crafts:
Wallet:
With ID holder, credit card slots, AND coin pouch.

Messenger Bag:
Holds all my books, has clipping closers, plus internal pockets for smaller items. I used grommets. I love my grommet pliers.
