Rice University Squirrels:

Rice is a great environment for squirrels! The Campus Squirrel Listings rates Rice as 5/5 squirrels! Anyway, Rice is home to many FAT squirrels, though you may not know that there are two breeds of squirrel on campus. 

Grey Squirrels (Sciurus carolinensis) are smaller and have white bellies and larger ears. They tend to be a bit more skittish, possibly due to their smaller size.

Fox Squirrels (Sciurus niger) are larger, bolder, and orangey on their bellies. These are the ones that usually chase you.
